Privacy Policy

• Your account. Your email address and, if you sign up with email, a password (stored only in hashed form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, your name and profile picture address from Google, and nothing else from your Google account.
• Your profile. The username, display name, bio, city and main game you choose. Other signed-in users can see these.
• Your date of birth. Asked once to confirm you are 16 or older. It is never shown to other users.
• Friends and blocks. Who you are friends with, friend requests you send or receive, and who you have blocked.
• Messages. The messages you send in one-to-one and group chats, and which groups you are in. Messages are stored on our servers so they reach your friends and your other devices. They are not end-to-end encrypted.
• Reports. If you report a user, group or message, we keep the report and a copy of what was reported.
• Settings. Your privacy and notification choices.

• Your precise location. We only keep the city you pick.
• Your camera images. The camera is used to recognise cards. Frames are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
• Advertising or tracking data. The app has no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking.

• To run the app: sign you in, show your profile to others, deliver your messages, and keep your data in step across your devices.
• To keep the community safe: our moderators may read reported messages and the conversations around them, and may remove messages, remove members from groups, or suspend accounts.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, on servers in Sydney, Australia. Supabase processes it only to provide the service to us. Sign-in with Google is handled by Google under its own privacy policy.

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, friendships, one-to-one conversations and the messages you sent are deleted. Reports that were made about your content, and messages a moderator removed, may be kept with a copy of that content so that safety decisions can be reviewed.

• Edit your profile at any time in the app (Me → Settings → Edit).
• Delete your account in the app (Me → Settings → Edit → Delete account), or by emailing us from the address on the account.
• Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us.
• Block or report other users from their profile or from a chat.

Cards and Friends is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly keep accounts for anyone younger; if you believe a younger person has an account, tell us and we will remove it.

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
